Chocolate chip cookies

Carlina makes the best ones! She makes them at least once a week from the Toll house recipe and nestle choc chips...they are usually gone as soon as she takes them from the oven. Our gas stove works great for baking cookies. Jesse keeps the pizza stone in the bottom of the oven and it absorbs the heat and helps, too. Our last stove in Oviedo was terrible for baking. Everything was so uneven. This is my first experience with a gas stove and I really like it. My Grandma had a gas stove in her little house in Evans City, PA and when I first moved in here, the smell brought me right back to visiting Grandma every summer as a child.
